Why Trellis?
When trellis is used on your cannabis plants/plant you’ll be encouraging more uniformity and a straight main stem. Pruning becomes a breeze when trellis is used because everything is more spread out and it’s branches and buds have more symmetry. Trellis allows the extra support required for optimum bud development and plant health.
What is a Trellis?
A trellis is a framed screen or net that provides sectioned holes for your plant’s branches. Trellis can also be used if the grower needs to alter the pattern to best suit their plant or cannabis garden. Ideally shoots or branches should be guided through the gaps in your lattice when using trellis. Depending on the plants you may require 4 stakes to place around your plant and affixing to your netting structure to the stakes, ensuring that it’s firm. A good trellis will always provide a greater yield at harvest time….who doesn’t want more right? More shoots equals more buds….buds 😉!
